New WordPress pugin: special-category-analyzer

This Special Category Analyzer plugin for wordpress analyses the categories set for a post, detect the categories begining with a special character and modify the post parameters approprietly (remove special characters, set format, set category, set tags).

This plugin can be used to modify posts published automatically to wordpress by other services with limited options.
For exemple the ifttt receipe of wordpress allow only categories and tags; if you want your Pocket articles to be publish with specific format or tags, you have to use this plugin to allow special categories to have actions like set_format or set_tag (the special categories are then remove from the classical categories with no special characters at the begining).

For example, for my Pocket->WordPress recipe in ifttt, I had a “_aside” in the categories of the created post. When the post is saved, the plugin detect the special character and set the post format to “aside”, allowing me to do theme customization of this content.
I can also add “-whatevertagiwant” as a category, the plugin will remove the “-” and put “whatevertagiwant” as a tag.

This plugin is based on the ifttt-post-formats plugin from wordpress.org user jtsternberg. Please, consider donating to him in the first place if you find my plugin usefull.

You can download the plugin here.

Please tell me if you would like other options.
